How to get there
Getting to Ascona
Though our wedding will take place in Villa Emden on the Brissago Island, there is no place to stay. Hence, we recommend to book your accommodation in Ascona.
Drive 1.5 hours from Milan
Drive 2.5 hours from Zurich
Drive 5.5 hours from Geneva
We recommend flying into Milan,
and renting a car (1.5 hours by car),
or Zurich Airport (2.5 hours by car)
Getting to Villa Emden
The Wedding itself will take place in Villa Emden on the Brissago Island. There will be a boat pick-up (03.00 PM sharp) & drop-off to get you there and bring you back.

TIP: stay within Ascona Village to be able to reach everything on foot and be close to the departure & arrival point of the boat to bring you to/from Villa Emden on the Isola di Brissago.
Vista Lakefront Boutique Hotel
Located right on the boardwalk of Ascona Village, this small boutique hotel allows you to wake up with a beautiful view over the lake in the morning. The hotel is right in the center and hence at walking distance of all the main sites (including the boat departure point to go to the wedding)!
Art Hotel Risposo
If you like artsy & quirky, this is your hotel! The Art Hotel Riposo, is located in the heart of Ascona, and offers a stunning view over the town and the Lago Maggiore, all from your sun-bed at the pool. It is within walking distance of all the main sites, and yes also from the boat departure point to get to the wedding.

Romantik Hotel Seeschloss
If you feel like kings & queens, you might want to stay in the Romantik Hotel Seeschloss, with its traditional "Castello" room-style and beautiful courtyard. Also the Romantik Hotel Seeschloss is right at the boardwalk and hence, in walking distance of all main sites & the boat departure point to arrive at the wedding!

Sunbathe at the Lido
Located right on the lake, the Lido Ascona is the perfect place for a dip. In case you want to enjoy the summer vibes, you can head to one of the two bars: either the lounge on the terrace by the entrance or the small beach bar by the water, with its Caribbean-inspired groove and delicious cocktails.
